We are a full service school: a school that responds to diversity by providing quality education for all. At Sivuse Primary School, we take an inclusive approach to learning and celebrate diversity in education by recognising each child’s potential, and removing stigmas and negative labels. The learning support department, managed by the learning support co-ordinator, is integral to the functioning of the school. It supports the needs of every child at the school and their families.
At Sivuse Primary School, we hold school community meetings per year in which important topics such as the school budget are discussed. These meetings are usually held on the final Tuesday evening of the first three terms.
At the start of each year, class teachers hold a meeting for all parents of the children in their class. During this meeting, teachers inform parents of the way they work, homework expectations and channels of communication.
